Josh A. Reeves is Director of the Samford Center for Science and Religion at Samford University.

Dr. Josh A. Reeves is a scholar of science and religion and the author of four books, including Redeeming Expertise: Scientific Trust and the Church’s Future (Baylor University Press, 2021). He holds an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. from Boston University, and he completed a postdoctoral appointment in the Heyendaal Program for Theology and Science at Radboud University, the Netherlands. In 2018 he held a research fellowship at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and in 2022 he received Samford University’s Outstanding Scholarship Faculty Award. Reeves is a past co-chair of the Science, Technology, and Religion program unit of the American Academy of Religion.
